Your Satellite hardware includes a satellite dish, cabling and a Satellite modem. Please note, BigPond Satellite dishes are for internet services only and are not compatible with Satellite television services. 2-Way Satellite serviceYou can access BigPond Broadband 2-way Satellite service virtually anywhere in Australia, even if there isn't a phone line near your premises, provided you have a clear line of site to the satellite. Our 2-way Satellite service sends and receives data via satellite, and doesn't depend on land-based phone lines or cables, so it can reach places far beyond the range of ADSL or cable, giving you download speeds of up to 800kbps^. We'll install it for you.

1 way Satellite service
With the 1-way Satellite service all files are downloaded via
Satellite, direct to a receiving Satellite dish on your roof, carried to your
Satellite modem and into your computer. You send your files, such as emails, via
a normal dial-up connection. Yuo can install it yourself or we can do it for you.
